Here is my breakdown for what works for me for Paleo. The lifestyle is all about what works for you. Some people are 100% Paleo and some are 80/20, some even 50/50. It's all about finding what works for you and what you will stick to! We don't use the term lifestyle lightly, it's NOT a diet. It's NOT a short term thing. It a lifestyle change, so focus on what you CAN eat and not what you can't.
The following is a list of the most common foods I eat, don't forget they vary for everyone:
Proteins:
- eggs
- chicken
- beef
- fish
- pork
- limited bacon
- limited sausage
Veggies:
- broccoli
- green beans
- asparagus
- sweet potatoes
Fruits:
- strawberries
- grapes
- bananas
- apples
- peaches
- cherries
- raisins
Fats:
- avocado
- cashews
- almonds
- honey
Randoms:
- almond flour/meal
- coconut milk
- coconut butter
- coconut oil
